Delay the Decay

…we do not lose heart, but though our outer person is decaying,
yet our inner person is being renewed day by day.

2 Corinthians 4:16

DELAY THE DECAY

Every human is in some form of decay…we all have an expiration date. Your hope is not in stopping the decay, but in the One who will redeem all things. Even though your body (and mind) may be on a downhill slide, your hope and joy and sanctification in Jesus can grow! Even though you can’t stop the decay, by God’s grace and healthy disciplines and practices you can delay it!

DELAY THE DECAY

“While bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance.”

1 timothy 4:8-9

The ancient scriptures tell us that training our body has value, but not ultimate value. Godliness is valuable in every way...godliness has more value. Our bodies are decaying, itʼs a fact of life! Every life has an expiration date, we donʼt know when it is, everyone has a date. All the exercise and healthy eating canʼt and wonʼt stop the decay of our bodies, but by Godʼs grace we can “Delay the Decay”. So training the body is good, but not of ultimate value.

Our Mission

To Equip, Encourage and Empower Christians to do the good work of delaying the decay, in order to live life to the fullest.

5 Primary Domains of Life

Life domains provide a framework for understanding balance and identifying areas that may require attention or improvement.  Each domain reflects a unique part of life, but is often interconnected with others.  We want to help you take steps forward to form new habits and practices that lead to Life to the Full in these five Life Domains:

SPIRITUAL DOMAIN

is based on the relationship we have with God. It’s the most valuable of all the domains. It’s measured by the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23)

RELATIONAL DOMAIN

is the relational trust we’ve built-up (or eroded) with others. It’s both the quality and depth of our relationships. It’s measured in vulnerability, influence and impact.

PHYSICAL DOMAIN

is the pursuit of fitness across the course of your life. We only have one body to live this one life. It’s measured by consistent and intentional movement.

NUTRITIONAL DOMAIN

is the fuel we put in our body that gives us energy and life. Our relationship with food is a vital component of our relationship with God. It’s measured by self-discipline.

MENTAL DOMAIN

is the creativity and knowledge we have available to invest. The skills and competencies we learn allow us to thrive in life. It’s measured in creativity and insight.
