Delay the Decay is run by Dan Harty in Windsor, Colorado. This page explains what information we collect when you use delaythedecay.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@delaythedecay.com.

What we collect

What you send us. When you fill in a form on this site, we receive what you type: your name, your email address, your phone number if you give it, what you are interested in, how you heard about us, and your message.

When you order Gear. Orders are paid on a secure checkout page run by Stripe. Stripe sends us your name, email address, shipping address and what you ordered, so we can ship it. Your card details go to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

When you sign up for the 40 Day Fight. Sign-ups and payments are handled on our sign-up pages at 40dayfight.com, with payment by Stripe. We receive the details you enter there, such as your name, email address and the options you choose. The Fight’s community runs on Circle, where you create your own login.

What is collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are, and what kind of device and browser they use. This relies on cookies. Our hosting and security providers also keep standard technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and safe.

How we use it

• To answer you when you write to us.
• To take and ship your Gear order, and to deal with returns.
• To run the 40 Day Fight you signed up for, including the emails that are part of it.
• To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• To measure our advertising and, where we run ads, to show them to people who have visited the site.

We will use your information for future Delay the Decay promotion offerings.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who helps us, and what they see

We share information only with the services that help us run Delay the Decay, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe for payments.
• GoHighLevel for 40 Day Fight sign-ups and emails.
• Circle for the Fight’s community.
• Google for analytics and advertising measurement, and Meta for advertising measurement where we use it.
• Captivate for the podcast player on this site.
• Calendly when you book a call.
• GoDaddy and Cloudflare for hosting and security.
• The team that builds and maintains this website for us.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We may also share information when the law requires it.

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses them for analytics and security, and to remember what is in your Gear bag. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, although your bag may not be remembered.

Your choices

• You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@delaythedecay.com and we will help.
• Every email we send as part of the 40 Day Fight has an unsubscribe link.
• You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out tool.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires, for example for tax records of orders.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
